Question about exercising for the ladies.

I have recently gotten into walking and jogging more than I have before. I'm slowly starting to feel like I'm getting better at it.
My problem is that I get horrible cramps when I exercise when on my period. I'm best friends with the Midol and under a heating pad if I try "too much" according to my body.
I don't want to lose any progress I have made, but I also don't want to suffer either.
Does anyone else have this problem, and what do you do?

You won't lose progress in just a few days.

Maybe keep it at strolls when your period is at its worst & continue as usual for the rest of your period if it allows you?

This. Your horrible cramps likely last 2-4 days at the max. You won't lose progress in that time period. I'd try to keep up with some activity, maybe a light walk if possible, but not fret about it otherwise.

I take a 3 month birth control so I don't get that many period and they are more bearable than ones without...I may have endometriosis though so maybe mine are worse. I don't know.

Thanks, I might just be a bit too worried, haha.

Thanks, I will try going on a light walk a few times.

I actually don't get cramps unless I exercise, super lame.
