Hello, I wanted to ask you guys this question, it is for my younger brother, I am trying to get him to become healthier, he is slightly overweight, I am trying to get him to start tracking his caloric intake. I am unsure of his weight, he is embarrassed to check,he is 15 years of age, he is 5 ft 8 or so, his daily activity level is very low, he sits and plays on his console all day virtually.

Sparkteens.com is the place for him to check. MFP is for users 18 and over. People under 18 have different nutritional needs.

Sparkteens will be the site for him. Or talk with his pediatrician.

Even if it's just to track his calories. MFP has legal reasons for restricting their recommendations to adults.

Give him the sparkteens.com address and let him decide if he wants to look there.
