Menopause and weight loss

I had a total hysto, I gained 30 lbs on the hormone replacements they put me on very fast. I have stopped taking them. I joined a gym 3 months ago I was going 3 x a week now for the past 3 weeks I go everyday, for an hour kickboxing/boxing class. I also am trying very hard to watch my calories and what I am eatting, but I have only loss 10 lbs. My doctor started me on a new vitamin and I have started to drink fresh squeezed lemon in warm water at breakfast time. I am now trying slim fast (hate not eating food) one for breakfast and one for lunch then a meat and vegi for dinner. I also allow myslef a sweet every day. Can anyone give me some advice on what works.
