Hi, it's me again
Does anyone know broadly how long it takes for fat to be burned for energy when the body experiences a calorific deficit?

Fat is burned DAILY. You burn the most body fat at rest since it's the primary fuel. So as soon as you sit and rest, you're burning fat as an energy source.

The body goes through cycles. It burns stored energy until it gets new energy in (food), then it burns what it can of the new energy and stores what it doesn't need at the moment, until it needs more energy and it burns the stored energy.2
