why do feet tingle after eliptical?

If I do at least 30 minutes on the elliptical my feet start to tingle after a while. It's not bad. It's not painful. It just is a sensation I am aware of & it dissipates within a minute or two when I stop.

What causes the sensation? Should I be concerned?

More than likely your shoes tied to tight.

The last time I got new gym shoes, I noticed my shins would be numb after I walked on the treadmill. I unlaced the top holes and never had an issue again. I did that on the suggestion of a friend who is a trainer, but if you can't pinpoint the issue on your own, I believe you can go to a running shoe store or the like and they will evaluate it and tell you what's wrong.

I feel the same thing. I'll try not going so tight on my laces and see if that helps. Thanks all.

I was hoping it was something as simple as the fit of my shoes. I will loosen them tomorrow & see how I feel.

I also notice this sensation when my feet are too far forward on the pedals.

Stand flat footed, not on your toes.
