Using PB2 as a substitute for Peanut Butter

This might be a really dumb question but I'd rather ask than mess up so here goes.
When baking and using PB2 as a substitute for peanut butter, should you mix up the PB2 to the amount of peanut butter called for in the recipe or just use the dry PB2?
Thanks!

It depends on the recipe. When I make a peanut butter protein cake with PB2 I just add it dry but I made the recipe to be made that way. I've also done peanut butter oat protein cookies with PB2 but I mixed it with water first.0

I think any recipe calling for regular peanut butter, would require mixing it first. The moisture it provides is probably integral to the recipe.
In things like smoothies or protein bars it's nice to have the PB flavor without adding fat our moisture.0
