Just got through brushing my teeth and using my gum irrigator, and I wondered what your tooth care regimen is, what your favorite tooth brush is, your favorite tooth paste, and the whys for all these. Maybe I (we?) can learn something from you in this area.
Do you brush a lot daily? Do you carry those itty-bitty single-use toothbrushes-with-tooth-paste with you at times? Does food sometimes get in between your teeth and bother you?
Do you do a special cleaning after you've had certain foods? What foods?

I use sensodyne whitening toothpaste, it's for sensitive teeth, since using it my sensitivity really has vanished
After brushing for ages with my oral b electric toothbrush I floss between each tooth, it's amazing what is stuck under your gums, then finally I use listerine mouthwash, mouth feels amazing afterward lol
I brush every morning but will admit I sometimes skip at night, too tired lol
I always look forward to going to the dentist every 6 months for a scale n polish, just helps keep up all the good work I do at home to keep my teeth in good condition0 -

I've had gum disease and I've been wearing Invisalign for over 2 years so I have to be very anal about my dental care, lol (finally done as of Wednesday though but still got to use retainers during the day for a while).
I use a sonicare electric toothbrush. The toothpaste I've used lately is the 2 in 1 toothpaste/mouthwash kind... it's less messy and I like it better than regular toothpaste I think. I basically have to brush my teeth and floss (and wash the aligners/retainers) every time I eat something... so 3/5 times a day. Super annoying. Plus I had a root canal and they were not able to move it, obviously, so I have a spot where food ALWAYS gets stuck, so I pretty much have to carry floss with me at all times at this point. It will be nice in a few months when I only have to wear the retainers at night.
Despite all this my teeth still stain pretty easily unfortunately. It's coffee and tea, I think. I usually start getting stains on a few on my top teeth 5-6 weeks after a cleaning (I go every 3 months). I'm hoping it will be better now that the teeth hooks are gone and I can access the whole surface easily.
I haven't had a cavity since I started Invisalign though... much easier to brush properly when your teeth are not completely crooked!1 -
