New Starter looking to belong and be successful

Hello, everyone I am Blondie318 I am a Thyroid Cancer Survior and have been cancer free for well this is the start of my second year, had my thyroid totally removed and take daily medication for that to regulate my body. I have gained weight however and know that I really need to take it off for many reasons self esteem, and health related. I am a stress eater and food is my enjoyment and comfort however I need to lose this weight so I am going to try and any help or encoragement would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Welcome! I am new here also, but so far have found it to be a very helpful place with some terrific people!

I too had my thyroid totally removed several years ago (although not due to cancer). I have a difficult time with diets/exercise and I am still confused on what is best for me.

I too am a cancer survivor, though not thyroid, and gained a ton of weight due to drugs and side effects and lack of energy. You have my support!
