It's whatever works for you. :)

There are some of us who can't eat something before bed due to a medical condition, and others who can't sleep without eating right before turning in.

I used to think that I couldn't fall asleep on an empty stomach. I went on a retreat for four weeks where we were only eating breakfast and lunch. I learned through that time that I could fall asleep on an empty stomach, but it's not my preference. Do what works for you.

Oooh yes. I eat every hour between 7:30 and bed time.

Not for me. But I know that my granddogs settle right down after they have been fed, so it must be doggie bliss too!!

If I don't have a bedtime snack hunger will wake me in the middle of the night which will mess up my whole next day, so I definitely save some calories for this.

I love sleeping when full but I hate waking up in the morning without having fully digested/expelled the food and seeing the weight on the scale D:

I prefer to be neither hungry nor noticeably full. If I eat a lot and go straight to bed, I will feel really gross when I get up. If I'm actually hungry I cannot sleep.

I prefer to go to bed 'satisfied'. Hungry and I can't sleep. Full and I get indigestion.

I prefer to be just right -- neither hungry nor full. But if I have to choose I'd rather be just a bit hungry than a bit too full. If I go to bed on a full tummy I feel absolutely horrible when I get up. If I go to bed a bit hungry I feel fine when I wake up.

I can sleep with either empty or full as long as I don't get indigestion.

I'm certainly not hungry when I go to bed, but I generally don't eat after 7PM - two hours before bedtime most nights. I sleep more soundly, without having to get up during the night, if I don't eat too close to bedtime.
