Hi everyone. I've decided to do a 2-week cardio challenge to try to get back to being active after summer vacation and get out and enjoy the sunshine before it's over. Anyone want to join me? Here's my challenge:

Let’s get active with this 2-week challenge. The challenge is simple and includes 7 of my favorite fun, summer cardio activities. You must be active every day for the full 14 days!

I will document my progress and accomplishments and please feel free to comment on how you are doing too. In the next fourteen days, you must complete each activity twice. You can arrange your own calendar to suit your schedules. My calendar is listed below. The 7 workouts include:
  • Moderate to challenging hike (min 2 hours)
  • Running in the park (min 30 minutes)
  • Cycling (min 1 hour)
  • Outdoor gymnasium (min 30 minutes)
  • Power walk in the park (min 30 minutes)
  • Outdoor sports (min 1 hour)
  • Swimming (min 30 minutes of laps)

So I'm done days 1 and 2 and I'm onto day 3. Swimming for day one 40 minutes. Had planned hiking for day 2, but didn't have time after work, so did a 5K run instead. Going cycling with my man today and then hiking tomorrow. Feeling great. Love living an active lifestyle.
