21 fix food list question !?

Hi ! So ive been on a long journey trying to get healthy and i just started again last week. So far ive gone to the gym 3 days in a row and going again tomorrow and i feel great
Now im doing the 21 day fix but only the nutrition portion and i had a question. It says for the blue container you can have cheese and it says chedder .. Does it matter what kind ? I had this for breakfast today : 1 franz whole wheat english muffin , 2 eggs sunny side cooked in 1 Tsp of coconut oil, slice of tomato and a little less than 1/4 cup of white cheddar ( the blue container says its 1/4 cuo equivalent), and 1 cup of fruit. The cheese was simple truth organic white cheddar cheese. I tried inputing it into the calorie counter but it said my breakfast was 500 calories?

the calories sound about right. look on the packages of these foods and see what the calorie counts are for those amounts.oil is high in calories no matter what kind it is. so yeah its possible. and I dont think the type of cheese matters to be honest.what happens is a person doesnt like cheddar?

Very possible.
2 eggs - 140 cals
1 tsp of coconut oil - 40 cals
1 slice of tomato (I used 30g as a default weight) - 5 cals
1/4 cup cheddar cheese (I used 30g as default) - 114 calories
1 whole wheat franz english muffin - 130 calories
That total is 429 calories.
Now, it depends on what entries you chose. You may have chosen an entry that had a different nutritional count - but that's the basis.
I used weights in grams because that is more accurate than choosing something such as 'a slice of tomato'. Everyone slices tomatoes differently and that can make a difference.
I can pack a 1/4 cup of cheese into a measuring cup and make it more caloric - or I can do it sparsely and make it less. That is why weight is important.0 -
This is exactly why MFP doesn't operate with food lists. Just pick foods you like, find the correct entries in the database, log the amounts you eat, hit your calorie goal.2

I've seen list on Pinterest. 2% cheddar would be lower calorie than regular. But if 500 calories fits into your day, then why not whole milk cheese?
The thing is 21 DF is going to be different calories every day. That's why you get a range. Some fruit is higher in calories than other fruits (1 cup of pineapple vs. 1 cup of watermelon). Some veggies are higher in calories than other veggies (1 cup of cucumbers vs. 1 cup of carrots).

I think 5 hundred and something verses 400 is a big difference.. My range for my calories on the 21 day fix is 1800-20990
