I'm 5'7" and weight 281 lbs. I'm currently wear an18/20...my long-term goal is to get back to my pre-baby weight of 160. I'm an emotional eater and am trying to get that under control....

One thing that helped me was logging every day. Even logging the binges not matter how high.
Just give this place a chance. At least for a month. You'll see, it helps.

Good luck. I'd recommend trying to eat a balanced low calorie diet with gentle exercise. This should make you feel good. Fad diets, ridiculous exercise routines and weird combinations are not for you.
No food should be banned, considered a 'treat' or considered 'bad'. But if you fancy high calorie foods just try and control the portion size.
Dieting, even the most sensible diet, can play havoc with the emotions. That's because the part of your brain that controls metabolism also controls our fundamental emotions like fear and anger.
Diet mindfully. If you notice your emotional responses to stimuli then you might find it easier to avoid or deal with the problems.
If you know you're going to be forced into a stressful situation, try spending the preceding week at maintenance rather than calorie deficit.
Also try walking. I find a long walk cures all worries.
    Be kind to yourself:)
