I was recently diagnosed with diabetes and I have no clue what to eat. I am looking for ideas. ??? If anyone can help that would be great.

I have had three family members diagnosed as type II. They were able to attend a class that gave them a diet with exchanges. It is important to eat a balance of protein, carbs, and fat. When I cook for them I try to keep it simple lean meat, veggies and a complex carb. That way they can measure the amounts that fit their plan. I found this website very helpful: diabetes.org
