Eating exercise calories

It seems a lot of people here advise only eating back half your calories when they're estimated from MFP. What about calorie estimates from iPhone steps, calorie displays from exercise machines, and estimates from websites? I know most calories tend to be overestimated, even on machines. But is it twice as much? I always adjust exercise recorded in MFP to the exercise machine display or a reputable calorie estimate website, but I don't change the steps calories (for me usually less than 100 per day). The calories I record are usually much less than the generic estimates from MFP. I'm losing faster than I anticipated so I'm still trying to be more accurate with everything. Thanks :)

If you're losing faster than you should be, eat more of your exercise calories. No one can say for sure if the numbers are inflated or not, you simply have to try it out and see.

If you are losing faster than expected then definitely eat back more.

Sounds good. I'll give myself some more leeway.
