I am an above the knee amputee for three years. Due to a variety of health issues I am wheel chair stuck, I need suggestions for exercises that I can do from my chair to help build upper body strength. I currently do some yoga.

Get a set of TRX straps. They'll allow you to do a variety of body weight exercises. I'd also say try weights, probably starting with dumbbells.
There are also recent threads on here from other wheelchair users. If you search for "wheelchair" you'll find several.0 -
Yoga
EDIT: sorry I read your post too quickly and didn't absorb it all properly.0 -
Hello and welcome!
Maybe get some dumb bells or kettlebells?0 -
Don't know if it is possible for you but water exercise/swimming would allow you to work your arms but also torso and such.
Our public pool has a lift.1 -
Hi! I'm an above knee amp as well... almost 2 years now. I do have a prosthetic but it's a work in progress.
Going thru physical therapy I worked on all kinds of core strength exercises. Try doing some planks! Very hard but worth it.. push ups! Weights or resistant bands. Search on YouTube for seated exercise videos as well! ♡0
