strength trainging tips

I need to find a new strength training routine.... my body is maintaining and I still want to lose inches on my hips. I have been following a gym regimen from the book "thinner leaner stronger" anyone know of any other good books out there or work out routines?

I currently do lifting 5/6 days a week and HIIT training 3/4
