Brand new to app - hoping it will motivate me!

Hi, my doctor recommended I try this app. I've gotten into some unhealthy habits over the past year - emotional eating, too little exercise, fast food, the works. Need to get more active, maybe lose 25-30 pounds. How's it working for everyone?

    Similar boat. I used to be very active and now im much more sedentary. I try to eat well but i often dont eat, then im straving and scarf down *kitten* things. Looking to lose 20. First day on the app. And boy was it a rude awakening as to how fast calories add up. 1200 is not much at all! But I feel like it's changing my mind set already.
