when to eat?

Hello, I have a question about something that has been a struggle for me for a long time now. I play on a roller derby team and we practice twice a week for two hours. We practice from 6-8 so I leave for practice at 515 which only gives me a half an hour to get ready when I get home from work and I don't get home until close to 9 after practice. On days I practice I struggle with dinner because I don't want to eat before practice as it is very early and I get an upset stomach if I eat before skating. On the other side of that though I hate eating late at night and if I wait until I get home to eat I am starving and tend to over eat. Any suggestions?

Pack something quick you can take with you? Like a sandwich wrap you can just take with you.1

Rather than a full dinner before have something light like a protein bar to tide you over. Then after practice eat the rest of your "dinner" calories.
Timing of your meals makes little difference to weight loss. Eat when it's convenient for you.1 -

Even when I just go to the gym after work, that's how I play it. I'm usually my hungriest at lunchtime anyway. Then Quest bar after work, sandwich after gym.0
