5'7, 5'8 ladies what is a healthy weight?

It is so crazy how frame size and body composition can make a height and weight look so different. I saw someone was 5'7 and 140 wearing US 2. At 5'8 and 140 I was size US 6. I'm still size 6 at 133 but jeans are getting looser.
I'm currently running a small deficit and lifting heavy, not trying to lose weight as much as lose fat. But I'm wondering if I should run a recomp instead. I tried recomp a while back and started to see some results but it was slow. Then tried to bulk and felt my body fat was just too high for that and gave up. So I have been bouncing between maintenance and a deficit but probably not actually gaining much muscle by being so inconsistent.1 -

I can't get below a size 6 due to my hip bones so I know what you mean. At my thinnest adult weight I was 137 and size 6 pant, small or xs top. I didn't feel or look healthy though. I look best in the 150s and wear a 6/8 at that weight range.
My sons god mother is an inch shorter than me and will always wear a large top but looks best in the 120s in a size 0/2.0 -
170 is my goal weight. I have an unusually heavy and curvy frame and 170 looked super good on me a few years back (and that's with a good amount of muscle mass as well). My doctor also told me at the time I was at a healthy weight for my frame. I know 170 would be considered quite overweight on a small frame so it depends on muscle mass & bone mass.
Once I get to this weight I will decide whether or not I feel I should lose more.1 -
5'7 aiming for 118-120 initially. I am currently at 124, I plan to increase my strength training intensity in the Fall to build muscles, at that point scale numbers won't matter to me.1

I'm 5'8. I felt my healthiest and strongest between 160-170, as it suites my frame. Have a ways to go, but I may be aiming for somewhere around this area ultimately.1

I'm 5'8". My lowest weight at this height was 120. I was underweight, and I didn't feel good AT ALL. My ideal weight - the weight I felt my absolute strongest and healthiest - was 135. But I reached that after years of weightlifting. I held that weight (~130-140) throughout my 30s.
I started putting on weight in my 40s, and by the time I hit 145 I started to feel a little flabby because my body fat % had increased. By the time I got to 150 I felt uncomfortable. At 165, I thought I have a real problem. I hit 187 and thought I am really in trouble. That's when I joined MFP.

The lowest weight I've ever been as an adult is 127lbs, and my family was ready to send me to a doctor specialising in anorexia, this was a very dark, unhealthy time in my life. I wish I had pictures to share just to show how terrible that weight looked on me, i looked like those bobble head lollipop women2

I'm 5'7 1/2" (that half is really important lol) and my ultimate goal is somewhere between 145-150. I was 152 a few years ago when I came back from a deployment overseas and I looked fantastic. I'm currently at 181, so I have a bit to go.1

I started kind of aiming for 150lb but at 5'8" and 185 I can already see strong definition under the 'flab' lol I can easily see myself achieving a good body composition at 165, especially if I continue weight training. Depends on what you're looking for, however. I want toned muscle and more calories so a higher weight is preferable to me. I believe as low as 140 would still look healthy on a 5'8" frame.0

I am 5'7, 29, 3 kids SW 180, CW 146, GW 130 (this is how I remember feeling best in my skin in university). While I have that goal I have been hovering a bit in the 144-149 range for a few weeks (vacation, kids home and less exercise), and I feel pretty good about myself. I am wearing a size 6, but I still have a flabby tummy which is why I'm sticking to my goals.
Looking for people to add so feel free!0 -
SW was 214. As of today I am 168. My current goal is 155. I will maintain that for a couple months then reassess0

I'm 5'8" and currently 137lb, down from a starting weight of 168. My goal was 140, now is 135, though I'm not trying as hard to loose weight now as I am pretty much happy with where I am.1

5'7" and I look and feel good at 135. I was 135 for most of middle school and high school (stopped gaining height around age 12). Gained in college but got back down to 135 after. Then gained through two pregnancies and my postpartum starting weight was 212. Now at 175.
Am going to get to healthy BMI (159) for sure, then lose until I'm a comfortable size 12. Prolly 150-155. After that, I'm going to concentrate on fitness and see where I end up.
But 135 seems like a common goal for 5'7" people.

Genetics, frame size, musculature and preferred body aesthetics make this impossible to answer
For a population guide use BMI for a range
But people like me who find 160 my optimum at 5'8 will be just as happy as people who find 130-135 optimum2
