Anyone out there feel like their significant others just suck when it comes to wanting to be healthy.... i have a picky eater when i LOVE everything and I'm always willing to try new things! i've always been the type of woman to cook meals but he is just horrible and won't eat certain meals if there are "things he doesn't like," in the recipe!! & it drives me insane!!

what can i do to stop this so I don't cave in

Are they things he can pick out later, like peas? Or maybe cook a batch just for him with said ingredients removed? Double the cooking yes, but it might help.
Or if it's a simple ingredient you can leave out and you can add un for yours later, like cilantro or onions in a salad. That kind of thing. (Cilantro can get wrecked. >_<)

Other than that I agree make your own food so you don't derail bc he's a picky eater.

Tell him to cook his own dang dinner

Yup, I am a picky eater too (well, more than picky - it's more of a phobia around some foods) and I don't expect others to cater to me. I'll either find something I can eat, try to manage anyway, or make something for myself.
