Fitbit Warranty Help

I got a Fitbit last year sometime. Don't remember when as I got it through collecting points through Insurance website. Recently, the thing won't charge or show anything on it. I believe I am within the 1 year. My question is has anyone else had trouble with Fitbit and had to return it - Was the Fitbit company hard to work with and am I wasting my time. Thank you in advance for offering your help.

I recently lost my fitbit and they sent me out a new one for free. It was only 6 months old though. It was most likely on warranty. They were real easy to work with....great service.
Just call them and see if you are covered. The worse they can say is no.0
