Bootea

Hi,
I keep trying Bootea, anyone else tried it ??
I suffer pretty bad with dioareah throughout drinking Bootea, and always give in and stop drinking it,
this morning the cramps were so bad I almost passed out......
For the first time in a long time I'm actually sticking to a pretty good diet, but the difference I've seen whilst doing both the diet and Bootea drinks has been amazing,

Now..... Do I persevere with the cramps ?? Or should I stop taking the Bootea ??

Ps I did treat myself to a glass of wine last night, and carbs (paella) could that have caused the reaction I got this morning ???

Bootea is a laxative tea and thus supposed to cause that reaction. Stop taking it. It does nothing for weightloss.

I was typing something very similar but janejellyroll beat me to it.

This product contains several laxatives and diuretics. These symptoms are exactly what is supposed to happen.

Ultimately, it won't help you lose weight.

It's funny that they call it that. All it does is make your "bootea" angry.

Laxative abuse is NEVER a good weight loss plan.

Don't drink it. It does absolutely nothing for weight loss.

The company (as well as a few others weight loss fad companies) steals progress photos from weight loss sites/FB/Tumblr and claims them as their own products progress photos..

    Detoxes are basically pseudoscience BS.

It's a laxative and that's why you get the runs... Laxatives don't cause weight loss, and overuse of laxatives is harmful. They can also cause dehydration, and that's not a fun feeling at all.

Anything that gives me diarrhea, cramps, and nearly causes me to pass out would be a no no in my diet plan.

I'm guessing this one is just like the others on the market? Flat tummy tea, slim tea, baetea, etc. #1 ingredient is senna. Depending on the amount they use the cramps are to be expected. Unless you just like the taste I wouldn't drink it.

Most of the fit, detox, and skinny teas contain either natural laxatives or diuretics. They cause you to drop water weight or waste very quickly but do not help with fat loss. Please be careful with teas that contain senna. They really shouldn't be used for more than a week.

For the OP's specific issues, I cannot imagine continuing to eat or drink anything that was causing me cramps almost to the point of passing out. That can become a danger to yourself and to others around you.

    It's snakeoil. SMH.

Senna teas used for "weight loss" are a long time scam.

You drink a laxative tea and wonder why you get the runs? Bootea and teas like it are laxative abuse in a pretty box.

Thank you all, I appriciate your replies,
How is it legal to sell these things if it's all a lie ??
I've tried lots of different 'fads' I really thought his would be different ....... I hope some of my weight loss is due to how well I've behaved on my diet too !
