I mean it's not really surprising, it only has 25 calories a cup and almonds are around 7 calories each. It doesn't stop me from drinking it, it's a great milk alternative  I'm sure whatever they put in almond milk won't kill me haha

Milk for $1.25??? it's $3.69 for a gallon of milk where I live. And that's generic. Name brand is almost $5.

I mostly drink nut milks but also buy half a gallon of milk for making yogurt.

My half a gallon of cashew milk, prefer the taste, is 2.98. There's a sale right now, so it's 1.98
The same amount of cow's milk is 1.48.

1 Gallon = 3L so your prices are pretty similar to our generic brands. The milk i buy, local, organic and grassfed is $5.20 for 2L

You'll notice they said $1.25 for 1 liter. There are 3.785 liters per gallon so that's $4.73 a gallon for the milk.

Great Value milk at the local Wal-Mart $0.94 a gallon. Yes a gallon. Has been less than $1.00 for several months.

Don't drink it but the almond milk is around $3.50 a half gallon.

Why are you quoting me? @Colorscheme was the one shocked at the idea of $1.25 for a gallon, not me.

Sure, it's good fat. It's still 9 calories per gram of fat though.

Puts a new cost spin on the Gallon of Milk a Day bulking diets.

Wow if attempting to use a nut milk for that. How do you squeeze the little .... never mind ....
