After stepping on the scale, and seeing I've reached a new all time high, I hit my first all time low in quite some time.
But soon enough, I reevaluated where I'd taken such a detour. Turns out it all started with the job I took nearly 7 months ago that had me working shifts day in and day out. Throwing my eating habits and sleeping habits completely out of wack. So I did anything I could to scrap by. Constant pit stops for fast food, multiple highly caffeinated sodas a day, and barely enough sleep to keep my head on straight. Soon physical and emotional stress filled up any sense I had left as work got more complicated and I just couldn't seem to catch a break. After having my first emotional break down in years, I decided enough wad enough and started by putting in my two weeks. In that moment it was as if all the stress I'd been trying to carry, that always seemed to follow me around with that job, just melted away. Then I didn't a day our two literally just sleeping, quite literally, like a rock. I woke up feeling rested, for the first time, in 7 months. After that I've been working on getting a newer, more rewarding job, eating better, and slowly adding in home works, walks, or really any activity I can get in.
So now I'm looking for some new, motivational friends to hero me on this journey to a happier, healthier me.
