insanity on MyFitnessPal?

Hey everyone!

I was wondering if some of you can help me in figuring out how many calories one would lose doing Insanity
I am 5'6 and weight 143. I do the "Pure Cardio" video from insanity and the length of the video is 40 minutes.

    Hi I'm going to start insanity and I did the fit test tonight can't find insanity on the search so logged it as high impact aerobics alternative is to wear one of those heart rate monitors while you do it

    I'm waiting on my heart rate monitor to come in the mail. In the meantime, I log each workout as Circuit Training. For me Pure Cardio burned about 311 calories.

    My stats are almost the same as yours, 5'6", 142 pounds. I completed my first round of Insanity in May and now do it periodically simply because I enjoy it. Month one workouts, aside from recovery, I typically burn in the 400-450 range. That's from my HRM. it's mainly based on your effort, gender, etc... Hope this helps you out.
