Read the book when it first hit paperback and it changed my life

I've seen a few episodes of season 2 and it's not bad

I’m only on season 1 and its pretty good. I’ll have to check out the book though, I didn’t realize the show was based on a book

It's not the kinda book I recommend to people as "life changing"--I think it hit me at the right time for what it was. I did find it fascinating.

Better or worse than an everest disaster biopic being unexpectedly dropped in your lap?

    Watching Carnival Row

Oh! I want to see that too😉 At first it caught my eye because it reminded me of the grafic story Saga...250px-Saga1coverByFionaStaples.jpg

Which I'm still.waiting 2 yrs later for the final episodes while the authors took a sabbatical and left my *kitten* hanging😣

But it looks like it's just the wings and horns and the war....and love story....hmmmm?🤔

I'll be checking it out soon too🙌😋

    Edited 2x because I can't find my glasses😏

I’ll let you both know how I like it. I’m only on episode 2 right now so I can’t say much yet :)

    Heheh

Into Thin Air was that kind of book for me. Left me staggered. Not that the writing was so great. If I’m honest, i found his writing style super tedious to get through. Maybe it was just hard to follow all the names. But the whole concept, the other-worldly culture of everest.. I don’t know man, i crave books that make me think like that one did

The promos have intrigued me although now I cannot remember anything about the plot of the show so I can’t remember what intrigued me about them 😅

Yeah, they seemed to have veered far off course and I was already on the fence after season 2. Now it just feels like they are just profiting with no give.

Laying in bed pissed off. I need to out my phone down, turn it off, and go to bed.

But it's more therapeutic to dick around here.

Laughing at my boss. I was gone one day, she forgot 3 employees weekly reports and is now complaining she can't do it all.

    I'm much more appreciated now.

Where you mess up is flirting with a ton of women on here saying you’re a young single guy when in fact you’re married with one young daughter and another on the way.

You are a disgrace to the AF uniform, if you’re even really in the military!! Which if you’re not but you’re posing as can be punishable by law.
