Sitting on my couch thinking about food
Sometimes I think about me thinking about food. It's so cray 😅

Taking a 15 minute break to get some fresh air and stuff my face with a sugar free monster and a pack of pistachios so I can go back in and finish my 12hr shift with a little more energy. 👍
  • Watching the kitten stalk across the table to the point where he can launch himself into the air and land on the sleeping cat in the basket beside the table. There will be much hissing and an aggrieved retreat with commentary in a moment.

Drinking tea, doing laundry, and reading a medieval mystery novel. Girlfriend is asleep in her room (I can hear her snoring), Boyfriend is upstairs teaching a class on coding via Zoom, Hana-cat is asleep on our bed, Nyx, Daughter of Chaos is asleep on the guest room bed (which is why it has a large blanket thrown over it) and The Cat Jeoffrey is asleep on my cape (I ought to hang that up) on the dining room table. He's too stinkin' cute for me to disturb him, though.

That is the cutest reason to need a lint roller.

I was just sitting here thinking how fortunate my ex and I are that both our mothers are here to spend time with their great grandchildren.
I hope I live long enough to meet mine. 🥰

Waiting for my laundry to finish and my pumpkin bread as well. Then I can say tally ho and go into that silly artisan art store that doesn't open until 11. By 11 I feel like my day is almost over with; I hate shopping after 10 a.m. Went to JC Penneys the other day, sign said opens at 11; it was 10:30. S@ReW that. I came back home instead.
I really find all the store hours/days closed confusing and aggravating. Stores that used to be open 6 days a week, 9-6 are now open from 11-4 on Tuesday, Wed., Fridays, every other Saturday, closed Mondays unless it's the 3rd Monday of every other month, Thursdays from 1:30-2 unless it's a full moon........you get the idea. :)

  • Sitting ER waiting for COVID results.......
Hoping I don’t have to skip leg day tomorrow 😁
  • Getting ready to do some precooking for the week ahead. I'm planning an Indian feast with lamb biryani and chicken tikka, saag paneer, beef samosas, onion pakora, garlic naan and kheer for dessert next week. I can't go out for my birthday, so I'll make it myself at home.

kheer is the same as rice pudding, right? Or is there a difference?

It is, to my knowledge. I tend to use kheer to mean I'm going to flavor with rosewater and cashew nuts instead of the more typical cinnamon and raisins.

Reading a book for a few minutes at a time.
Sitting on my tuffet in my too-warm place in a heat coma, feeling lazy and lethargic but also needing to get in a light workout.
I need someone to yell at me about this workout.
