Road trips can be killer fun but killer when you get back sometimes

It's all fun until you are driving for 90 minutes at 2AM in the dark and pouring rain. Then running on fumes when getting back into town. Not a good combination. :#

Heading to the liquor store for the 4th time in a week. I may never drink alcohol again after my houseguest leaves.

Are you drinking with or because of your house guest?
    Is your house guest real?

Just watched youtube videos on changing my headlight bulb.. now going to change it. In a minute, while it's fresh.

    Good luck!

    I'm "working" right now.

    .. It looks easy peasy.

    never a good sign....

Why not, indeed?! Though I think I would prefer strawberries and cream to saws and thumb screws!

Ford Explorer, it was pretty easy. Way easier than when I had to disassemble the tail light a few months ago only to find I couldn't replace one bulb. I had to replace the whole LED tail light assembly.. so $300 later...

Wondering if I am going to make any progress today in getting the fuel pump lock ring off so I can replace the fuel pump in my truck.
Chevy? If so, I hate those on chevy's.

Yes, Chevy, and in an area where they dump salt on the roads in winter in huge amounts. I had other work to do under the box, so I took it off, but will end up dropping the tank anyway. I still doubt I will get it off, but I will keep trying until it truly seems hopeless.

Right now, finishing a coffee before heading outside to work on the truck some more.

    Congrats to your daughter. :)

I'm trying to sidestep my gnarly mood. Another night of insomnia after another wrong # call woke me up, 3 nights in a row. :( Espresso #4 coming up.

Found a new podcast, with guests talking about the Johnny Carson Show. The host/author is interesting & enthusiastic. I heard him interviewed on another show, so hopefully his own podcast will be as compelling.
