    Yes, S2 is a bit too soap opera-ish. The main problem is most of the characters are unlikable in 1 way or another. Clare Danes' character is in such a heightened, angry state, bordering on out-of-control, nervous voiced, eye-bulge at all times, that's it's exhausting when binge watching. I realize that's her lonely, bi-polar, bad decision making character, but she gives me a headache & I feel like I'm having a nervous breakdown.

    And, I'm guessing I'm the only one who isn't enamored by the lead Brit redhead playing the Yank. So many other actors could have given that character a sense of menace/likability a la Dexter... Clive Owen, David Morrissey, Jeremy Renner, Nathan Lane. Okay... perhaps not Lane.

    I've got 3-4 more ep, then I'm going to test S3. I may give in like you. I wanted to quit 1/2-way through S1, actually. The writing was great for the 1st half of S1... what happened?
