I prefer the Cuban one I an drinking right now, but the 7 year old one I splurge on is far better.
We've some nice Guatemalan stuff.
Hopefully with some of the recent changes in Ontario we will get some nice craft distilled stuff being made locally.0 -

I have in the fairly distant past (back in university so like 25 years back) had an acquaintance bring some rum that to a party that was made "locally", probably illegally, but was quite good. I would stick with the Caribbean stuff unless the local stuff tasted better. Time will tell. Up to this point starting a craft distillery has been really difficult and expensive in Ontario, hence the lower quality. The exception, in my mind, if Forty Creek Distilleries, but they built that on the money from their existing winery.0 -
