The last 4 days were supposed to be relaxing; they were just the opposite.
All I want to do right now is do some laundry, pet my dog and lift some weights.
Is "pet my dog" a euphemism ?
no, heck no
home now and my dog is jumping in circles with joy for seeing me
she was jumping and rolling around on the carpet so much that when she came over to see me she got the biggest static shock on her nose; she didn't care2 -

Been up since 3am... was deeply sleeping when my giant mirror noisily crashed from the wall & I jumped up in 1 movement to grab a baseball bat & angrily head towards the door. I thought someone had broken in.
So, hair a-tangle, I dragged the broken mirror to the dumpster & had myself a couple of double espressos. I'm a small girl... what impressed me was how quickly I jumped into action & got into Barb Wire mode.
It's 2-hrs later & my adrenaline is still pumping... gee, I hope that means extra calories burned!
Now I'm going to take a bath & bake a Dutch apple cake. It's tasty, but also, if the mirror did fall as a murderer tried to enter, I don't want to be rude should he return... cake, then crushed knees, while we wait for the squad car to arrive.1 -

Seeing this made me want to share our Aussie Shepard mix, Gary. He was about 5 weeks here. Now he is 4, the smartest yet dumbest dog I have ever owned. He cracks me up daily.
