I would be so grateful if someone would help point me in the right direction as I often wonder if I am eating enough calories.

My stats are
Weight 60kg
Height 5.4
Age 34
Exercise 4-5 times per week doing weight and cardio

I would like to lose 2kg and then tone up.

My current calorie intake is set at 1500 on mfp with my macros being
Carbs 40%
Fat 30%
Protien 30%
I regularly eat about 150-200 cals short of my daily allowance.

I know that in order to lose weight I should reduce calories, but considering the amount of exercise I do I wonder if I should up my cals.

Which reliable website do you us for macro and calorie guidance?

I had really good success using the suggestions here to setup my goals: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/819055/setting-your-calorie-and-macro-targets/p1

If you are working out 4-5 days a week (I assume for like 45 min each time?) and you are eating 1200-1300 calories most days then yes I would say you likely aren't eating enough to sustain that long term. Your workouts will become more and more difficult to motivate yourself to do as you become fatigued from the lack of food and intensity of workouts.

If you are only trying to lose 2kg you don't need to be so aggressive with your diet.

    Using

    http://www.exrx.net/Calculators/CalRequire.html

Assuming even that you are mostly sedendtary I put in that you do 8 hours rest, 15 hours very light activity and I got a maintenance calorie intake of ~2000. And that is assuming for 15 hours out of the day you are mostly sitting.

So if you are eating 1300 that means you are doing a massive 700 cal deficit daily. 1500 (your goal) is still way aggressive for your goal of losing 2kg and "toning". Might want to eat more like 1750.

If you are more active than a desk job you may need more.
