    Well done on making the first step - have a look around and make some friends here (have sent you request) as mutual support definitely makes things easier.

    First step I'd say is log everything you eat as accurately and honestly as you can - just that act will give you a real insight. Don't pay too much attention to the macro/other targets MFP gives you - just concentrate on the calorie target (unless you have specific health/fitness needs obviously!) and you'll find yourself losing weight. Lastly don't deny yourself - if you *really* want a treat then have it - just make sure it fits in your calorie targets. If it doesn't then save calories elsewhere in day (or day before/after) or do some exercise to earn the calories.

    If you don't already, then now is a good point to think about eating healthier and exercising more - not strictly necessary to lose weight but both will help towards you feeling better and therefore sticking with it.

    Go for it - continue to ask for advice/help/support as you have done here if needed and sure you'll do well. Cheers to a lighter tomorrow! x
