What would be a good workout plan to lose weight should I do cardio three days and strength two or strength three and cardio two

    If weight loss is the primary goal it's really just about the overall calories, and minute-for-minute it's probably easier to burn calories doing cardio. If you have the time you can do both on the same day - important thing is just to to give your muscles a rest every so often.

    In my plan, for example, I have an afternoon/evening leg session after a morning jog. The following day I concentrate on upper body resistance work so as to give the leg muscles a rest and that sort of schedule works for me. Find what works for you and you're more likely to stick to it.

    Eat less for weight loss. The exercise is for fitness goals and to help control better that you don't look like a melted candle when you lose weight.

    Calorie deficit for weight loss, exercise for fitness. Do what works best for you, but make sure your intake is spot on first.
