You net between BMR and TDEE and lose weight in a healthy, safe, and sustainable way. If you're obese you can be a bit below your BMR without ill effect...but the leaner you are the more negatively impacted you're going to be.0

With the amount of weight you want to lose (by your ticker), about 200-250 calories below your TDEE is where you'd want to end up, not below your BMR. But that would be your total calories, not your net.0 -
You should never go below your BMR. Your BMR is what your body needs to just function (your brain to work, your lungs to breathe, your heart to pump blood, etc), it's what your body needs if you stayed in bed all day and did nothing.0
