I use Cookinglight a lot! I also just use normal sites and plug the recipes into the recipe builder here on MFP - as long as you're not looking at heavy cream sauces, things covered in cheese, or things that are obviously not going to be low-calorie, you'll likely find a serving is less calories than you'd think.

I also tried Diethood the other day but I made one recipe that just didn't turn out right and then I lost trust in her taste because she eats her steaks well-done....so I gave up on that one :D

To lose weight, you have to eat less than you have been doing while gaining weight, but you are not going to eat so little that you'll need special food to achieve that. No food "aids" weight loss. Only a sustained calorie deficit can create weight loss. You can eat any food you like, and ordinary foods and meals and recipes will most likely be totally fine. Most recipes use real whole food ingredients, and the meals will therefore be healthy. A healthy diet is a variety of foods, enough, but not too much. Just google recipes for meals you want, and/or ingredients you want to use. Log everything in your food diary and try to hit your calorie goal. You can use the recipe builder, and prelog to avoid "surprises".

Any food, even diet food, can lead to weight gain if you eat too much of it. The best education you can get is to weigh your food and log it. Then you'll know if you are keeping within your goals.

Skinnytaste, cooking light and eating well are my favorites. Although most websites such as food.com and allrecipes.com have stats for most foods. You don't have to necessarily eat low cal recipes if you eat smaller portions with lots of veggies and/or salad to round it out.

Agree with others on Skinnytaste!
Slender Kitchen is a good one. Budget Bytes is good too. She lists ingredients with price.
Kristine's Kitchen is good too. Pinch of Yum and 100 Days of Real Food are two others that are good.
I try and look for recipes with all natural ingredients and no processed foods. These sites are good for that if I recall.
Also agree with Pinterest. I tend to get emails from the bloggers I like and then I'll save them to my Pinterest if they look good.
