Does anyone else geek out on the Olympics? I'm super excited!
I love swimming, diving, gymnastics, all the track and field events, and beach volleyball the most.
What are y'all looking forward to watching? Anyone you're pulling for?
I hope Phelps delivers again....he's a beast.

I'm kind of upset they didn't change the venue because of the zika outbreak.

Otherwise, I am looking forward to the track events and of course swimming.

Not exactly practical to just move the Olympics somewhere else.
Although I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried about security issues as well.

The Opening Ceremony is my favorite part of the Olympics. I know I'm not the only who grades the countries by how hot their athletes are.

And NBC is already up to their tape delaying shenanigans. Opening Ceremony is at 4pm PST but they're not airing it until 8pm. Eat *kitten*, NBC!

I keep looking at my Grandma's scrapbook on the floor from when she went and thinking I should flip through it just for fun

I LOVE athletics, gymnastics, swimming, diving, rowing, boxing...really everything!

Don't know if anyone's seen this yet. I'm hyped for the Olympics, but apparently they need better torch carriers and security.

@ejinvt I wish I was too young. Best line in that song "it means so much to me, like a birthday or a pretty view" lol. I don't know why but to me, that doesn't say much.

I'll catch some of the Olympics, but I do think the venue was not a good choice. Those poor boaters and swimmers are gonna get mad sick from all the pollution in the lagoon.

I don't understand why the Olympics are always somewhere different. I doubt that hosting cities make up the cost in tourism to build those huge structures that will likely never be used again. It just seems wasteful.

The 1st Olympics I can really remember is the Calgary Olympics. Opening night I spent the night at a friend's house for a birthday party. It was the first time I stayed awake all night. I remember getting up and watching the Olympics with her dad while everyone else was sleeping. I might have been 7 or 8.

    Check that...I just checked. I was 9
