Stay at home moms

What exercises do yall do? I have a three month old and she wakes up at the sound of anything. Live in Texas and its super hot outside. Im planning on going to the mall everyday to walk.

I have two babies under the age of 2. Since it has been so hot past couple of days, I wait until it is cool to take them out (afternoon) and use stroller and walk/light jog. I'm fairly new to this.

That would make it hard if ur baby wakes to any sound. Can u workout in a different part of the house? Or can u wear your baby while u workout? I've worn my baby a couple times while on my elliptical.

If u want to walk outside then go out early mornings or after supper when it's cooler

You could probably do yoga-type exercises as well as quiet ones.
    Kettle bell swings/cleans/snatches
    Push-ups
    sit-ups/ab circuits
    Planks
    squats
    Handstand holds

    Tons of options : )

I have 3 kiddos - 6, 4, and 3. I use my Sworkit app for body weight exercises, and I workout in my closet. Lol I also take the kiddos out for a walk each morning and evening, weather permitting. When the weather sucks, I hope on the stationary bike for 30 minutes while watching a show on Netflix.

You can get some little hand weights at 5 below or somewhere and do some quiet exercises with them.

I always did workout DVDs or run when my kids were younger. Mine did not wake as easily though. I lived in TX until recently and would take the kids in a jogger. I think my youngest may have been over one at the time but I finished C25K with him in the jogging stroller. I would run in the mornings when it was coolest.

When I was at home with my baby (now toddler) I would workout in front of him awake. He loved it.

I'm a sahm of 5, and I do t25 and p90x3 dvds. The kids have adjusted to it over the past year, and I sometimes have to stop, and take care of a diaper or something, but that is the beauty of a pause button! Lol Feel free to add me!

When my toddler was little, I did Leslie Sansone's walks on youtube. I still do them but I don't have to worry about noise, he sleeps through anything.

Lots of good suggestions! As your baby gets older she will learn to sleep better. :)

Yup. My toddler, as an infant was very difficult. He'd refuse to sleep on his back and hated his crib, so I had to place him in his swing seat to get him to sleep, and he slept next to me at night. At 4 months, I sleep trained him and he's been sleeping through the night ever since and has no issues going to bed in his crib.

My kids are 1,3,5, and 7. I started with exercise and mfp when my youngest was a month old. I did fitness blender videos on YouTube. Those can be pretty quiet and an amazing work out! Also when there were days that he refused to be put down or woke up during a work out, I put him in a structured baby carrier and did Leslie sansone walk at home videos on YouTube. They are low impact so I didn't have to worry about his head bouncing around and I got a more intense workout having a 15 lb baby strapped to me! Plus he always fell asleep during the workout.

I second the fitness blender videos. I do most of my workouts at the gym (yay free childcare!), but will work out in my room or the garage while the little ones nap.

you could try some home workout videos such as those on youtube, fitness blender, Flex etc? saves so much time and money and you don't need equipment for most of them!

I have 4 kids. My youngest is 4 months old. I went back to crossfit at 6 weeks but sometime I do home workouts too. I suggest taking a baby monitor outside and just do it! Squats, lunges, abs, drills, jump rope, push ups. There are a million things you can do. Watch some Youtube videos. If baby is awake put her/him in a chair and workout anyway.

I have a 1 year old and soon to be 3 year old. I currently go the gym with free childcare, but before that we just turned our basement into a mini gym. I bought a play yard and blocked off half the room. I bought some cheap weights, already had a tredmill. The kids play on the other side and I can still see them while I work out. I also did a lot of you tube videos. I downloaded Body Pump classes and bought a cheap weight set for 45 bucks off Amazon and did those videos for a while. I still use it quite frequently when we cant make it to the gym.
