I was depressed about my weight.. I have twins who are almost two. My stomach muscles are so far separated that the dr said no crunches. I really would love some advice on very specific workouts I can do at home- and more importantly, what to eat. I was thinking of low carb? But Atkins seems to not be good for you? I want to put the work in, get the weight off ASAP, and tone up. Please please help and try to be specific with any advice! Thank you so much.. This is my only outlet!!

I still hate my weight! But want to change it and make working out and eating healthy a life style change, not a yoyo diet.0

I'm 5'3" and 150. Everyone is different, but I just have to stick to counting calories, logging religiously, and avoiding foods that make me binge. Certain ones I have a hard time stopping at just a bite! A lot of people say diet is more effective than exercise for the loss part.
As far as exercise at home, do planks. I had a personal trainer for a few weeks and she said if you do no other exercise, at least do planks! Full body workout!
This article as some great exercises for separated tummy muscles.
