This might seem stupid but if I use an emoji and then keep on typing, once I hit send it will show nothing I've written after the emoji. And no emoji. WHAT IS THIS DEVILRY?

    are you using desktop or phone app?

    When I am on my desktop I often can't type ANYTHING - because every time I hit a letter I have to wait about 2 minutes to be able to put the next letter there, and I don't have that kind of patience.
