Tomato Basil Bisque

So on my journey into health ive recently been trying my hand at meal prepping, which requires making preppable foods instead of the decadent single serving stuff I usually make, and I found this cute little recipe on pinterest:

Has a bit more sodium than I like and I would personally use heavy cream instead of half n half if I were to make it again, but once again that is the decadent side of me lol. True to the name, it froze super well and I got about 8 nicely portioned servings out of it. Just thought id share
NOTE: If you make this, make sure you know how to properly use a blender BECAUSE I APPARENTLY DONT. @Valsedar and I were cleaning up partially blended tomato off of everything for about 20 minutes.

Just use a blender versus an immersion blender. Much easier both stress (splashing self with near-boiling liquid/tilting a hot pot) and, as you discovered, clean up wise.
That's what I do for all the homemade 'cream of' soups I make.

Lol I actually was using a normal blender, however I didn't pop the lid on tight enough AND I put too much in the blender at once. The lid FLEW across the room and I found more tomato on the ceiling last night lol.0
