How I keep myself determined to exercise

I get bored quickly and it's hard for me (for that reason) to develope routines. So I sometimes struggle with exercise, because whenever I get comfortable I just stop.
The solution I found is: don't have a goal, always push to get better. I have a goal weight, but I don't set exercise goals (like "run 10 miles").
Instead I challange myself every time.
If a certain machine in the gym doesn't make my muscles burn, I add weight. If it doesn't take long to recover from running, run faster next time. That's how I avoid getting bored and quitting. What do you do?

I hate strength training but these days I set an alarm to remind me, or rather, 5 alarms. Straight after each other. It's a pain. Lol
I'm also a geek. And I find that working out to epic fantasy music, and pretending like I'm training to go fight a dragon or take back my homeland helps me to not only get through my workout, but it actually makes me more determined and more likely to give it everything I've got!
Now I just need to go buy a legit battleaxe somewhere...mm, just imagine the type of strength gains I would get from swinging that thing around...1 -
I pick three things. Mine is dead lifts, walking lunges and shoulder press. Ultimately my main goal is to increase weight on all 3.theres so many things that need to be done to help this process. All, the smaller muscles that help the larger ones. All need to be developed. Core. Body imbalances. Mobility. Every second week I aim to be adding weight on to those 3.
Those 2 weeks In between is made up by HIIT, other weight circuits, free weights, machine weights and I design new workout each time.0
