Has anyone done it here and does it work? Always wanted to take part in it so to speak but something has always stopped me like not enough evidence that it actually does anything to help. Can anyone speak from experience?

What do you think will be the benefit? Or what are you trying to achieve. I know people that do it to increase the amount of carbs available on lifting days, but from a weight loss strategy it doesn't matter so much. Below might be helpful though.

with your metabolism, low body fat level and being 21 unless your doing long duration type workouts (two plus hours) I can't see it helping. personally I would just add more calories of any sort to your bulk calories Protein and Fat calories will convert to energy calories just like carbs do so to single out carbs for some special cycle I personally think is a Fad idea. Our bodies store about an hours worth of energy just being human with a good diet.

May I ask why 2.5 hours? Is it a mixture of weight training and cardio?

Your welcome science has proven food is a not a frequency thing weather its once a day or six times when you eat all comes down to calories and macros. 2.5 hour sessions is a lot you might make better gains breaking it up if that is your typical routine.

Yes, as well as my training days being upper/lower so more body parts = longer time

I haven't gone through all your threads, but your plan should align to your goals. Working out 2.5 hours may not be aligned to your goal or even necessary. Also, if you are lifting for a long time, I would ask what program are you doing and what are you working to achieve with such a long lifting session? Because more =/= better.
