Just getting started 160 > 130 Goal = -2 lbs lost so far

Just saying hello to you all. I have been sick for years and stopped exercising. Gained 30 lbs in a very short period of time and most of all most a lost of muscle/strength/endurance health. My Doc says I am pre diabetic and should loose weight. Well, After looking in the mirror with my clothes off, I gasped, I have never been this large in my life. I have always been athletic and very very thin, runner's body up till 2006 when I started getting sick.

I am walking like crazy now and really keeping track of my calories and burn thanks to this website. It keeps me honest with myself. Also, I am taking pictures of everything I eat and posting the images on by FB page so my FB contacts an can keep me honest and offer suggestions. I am incorporating lots of fresh veggies and making super mega green power drinks the and keeping all of my subsequent meals 3/4th veggie and 1/4 protein. Drinking 1 liter of water a day (lots of bathroom trips).

I am wishing everyone a healing journey and that they reach and maintain their healthy goals weight.

    sounds like you're doing a great job so far.

    though i think they recommend 2 liters of water per day, even more bathroom trips! aha. it's not always easy but it helps.
