*** Adding water to the diary ***

I noticed that adding water to the diary is not impacting any daily nuttrtion. I think we should add the water under meals to have them counted for nutrition such as sodium etc. Is this true or can any one advice?

It's probably not added because sodium content in water varies depending on where the water came from, if the water is filtered, how much sodium the filter takes out, etc. The average sodium content in water is really low anyways [1mg/oz].

A cup of tap water has 9mg of sodium. I suppose YOU could create a "water sodium" entry and use it yourself.
I, personally, don't fret 9mg of sodium. A LITER of tap water has 1% (40mg) of your daily sodium.

For comparison, an average slice of white bread has 147mg. Think of how much water you have to drink to get to ONE slice of white bread?

Most water does have a sodium content, but its usually a very insignifigent amount. And most of those with more sodium are mineral type waters as far as im aware. I wont claim to be an expert but I personally don't think its worth tracking, but if you feel more comfortable with if, of course you can log it under your meals instead, there are listings for waters, especially bottled waters.

How would I be able to log the minerals in my tap water? What use would that be anyway?

Not that I ever log water on the checker thing, anyway.
