Bodyspace

Anyone use the Bodyspace app? Looking to move from The Stronglifts app and was curious about Bodyspace. Not interested in the social aspect as much as the workout plan & tracking features.

I would use it when I wasn't doing any structured lifting plans. There is a wide range of user-submitted plans on there, and I prefer the tracking of weight lifted over time compared to other apps. I liked seeing my improvements.

With that being said, I ended up deleting it because I was annoyed with the social aspect. Even though I did not get involved, I would get nonstop requests and it was overall annoying. Plus it used too much storage on my already full phone.

Thanks for the feedback @vespiquenn . Can I ask what you use to track?

I use it but do nit use any of the pre-programmed routines. I like the tracking tools it provides. As for the social aspect, one of the benefits of being an ugly character is people tend to leave you alone.

    Thanks J

A good ole notebook and pen. But I'm also someone that likes to physically be able to look back instead of futzing with the app. I did like the app's graphing to see progress though. I miss that aspect of it. Realistically, I carried a notebook anyways and entered the lifts afterwards, so I just got bored of the extra step.

If you want a decent tracker though, I do recommend it.

The programming that BS provides are largely physique focused. While there is nothing wrong with that, be prepared to leave the strength programming of SL behind. There is Mike Herns ridiculous "Power building" program from an alleged natural you could try I suppose.

I do use BS, but I design my own workouts and create my own programs. I track my 531 accessories with it.
