my pillow worth the hype?

So the past few months I've been waking up with serious neck pain. Last time this happened was a few years ago and I switched to a contour pillow and my neck felt great.

Back to neck pain again. I'm wondering if all the hype around the my pillow is true about how good it is for your neck or if it'd just a horrible waste of money.

Before I invest money in it I wonder if any of you have one and know it's worth it?

My sore neck and I thank you in advance. :s

I have read some of the reviews on the Shopping Channel for this product. Based on those, I wouldnt buy it.

I have a my pillow, it's pretty good, fluffy and easy to wash and dry. I personally like the foam pillows better. They conform to my neck and shoulders perfectly.

I have a contoured memory foam pillow after a neck issues. It helps a lot. Took a few months to get used to it though. Just weird angle, not that it hurt or such.

Are you still using the contour pillow that you purchased a few years ago? Could be that the pillow itself just needs to be replaced.

I didn't think of that, I bet that's what it is!

Thanks everyone! I'm holding off on the my pillow for now!

With a lifetime of neck issues & having spent hundreds on varying pillows over the years, this works the best for me. A physical therapist recommended it.

I switch back & forth to doing this, when I sleep on my side...

For me, it's changing it up from time to time that seems to work. I empathize with your pain. I don't have much more than stiffness once I began doing the above. Prior to that, I woke up with a frozen neck & headache for many years.

    Good luck.

^ me too. But, IMHO, yes the pillow is worth it.

But, I use lots of pillows. My Pillow, old *kitten* foam pillows from the 70’s where the foam is breaking down, down filled pillows, body pillows….

It’s what I need at the time.

I had to look into this (because how can a pillow have terrible branding)

Wow. You weren't kidding! This *kitten* pillow looks like it comes with bad dreams or your money back.

I hope he doesn't branch out to satin sheets. 😲

Yeah, sadly, that's the issue. It's not a one size fits all, even in my own house. I have 10 pillows on my bed now... all sizes, some softer, some firmer. Occasionally, I have nights where I toss & turn like a porcupine on fire & switch out 3-4 before I give up & use none... just the rolled up towel under my neck.

My fave is feather, but they are not affordable & I typically move each year & have to toss a lot of my belongings... car's packed to tightly, I can't squeeze in an extra pillow & then dollar signs fly out of my eyes.

Unfortunately, you just have to test a bunch before you find a cache of 3-4 that become old standbys.

    Dang necks...

I'm sure it is! He just reminds me of that neighbor you try to avoid talking to but is always outside watering the lawn in his boxers. One simple wave 👋 and next thing you know you're stuck listening to his margarita-fueled cat-litter-crazy conspiracy theories from across the street.
