Confused - Pacer Steps adjustment gives extra calories?

I'm having a lazy day today and have only walked 1950 steps so far and burned approx of 80 calories according to Pacer (an app that records steps) and so when my Pacer synced with MFP, the calorie adjustment rocketed to 300. Is this normal or is there something wrong here?
Edit: I have -ve adjustments enabled.
Thanks to anyone who helps!

If it's like FitBit, it's going to adjust all day long (up until midnight). You want to see the final number, not the periodic ones.0
