Wondering how long, often, and what intensity your cardio workouts are. Would love to hear from older members with 40 or more pounds to shed!

I'm 33 so not super old I guess. I do about an hour of cardio a day. I didn't start with that much...started with like 15 to 20 mins a day and worked up.
I enjoy cardio...others do not. I mix in weights every other day as well. I've lost about 180lbs...from 388 to 207.5 -

My cardio isn't crazy hard because I want exercise to be a lifelong thing. Never been a jock, so several hours a week just isn't gonna happen. Typically 3 x 30 minutes. I rotate days with strength training (which is actually more important for me because of my age).
I'm way over 40 (closer to goal) but my cardio is rebounding, like low impact jogging.1 -
I'm 47 and workout every single day - mon - Fri I run for 40-60 mins and do progressive lifting 3 times a week. I walk at the weekends, usually aim for 7-10 miles per day.
I didn't have 40lbs to lose though, I had 20. Been in maintenance for over 3 yrs - my activity level has increased as I enjoy being active now.
Getting active in the beginning was more about earning me more calories but I like how my body has shaped up so that's the incentive to keep on doing it and obviously it will bode well for the aging process. I love that I have loads of energy1 -

For me, the important part is that this is fun, it's something I love. I think about it when I can't be doing it.0
