75 days in a row being accountable and with every baby step, I'm starting to feel better.

I started here Memorial day weekend..........I know, a rough time when this holiday with barbecue's are not the ideal time to start any weight management regimen. Tracking meals or snacks has definitely allowed me to see exactly what I like to eat often and how often I like to graze.
I am a work in progress but with every baby step I'm finally tipping the scale in a healthier direction. I started by weighing 183 lbs and am currently 166.5 lbs. I am proud of my 16.5 lb weight loss. I'm encouraged to continue to meet my goal weight of 145-150 and then to maintain it. I have to say I'm eating everything in moderation and feel satiated. My cholesterol went from 214 down to 201 and I'm trying to get it under 200 without any medicine. I've been feeling energetic and definitely less bloated. Walking more is my exercise of choice since I only have one lung and can't do traditional exercises. I wear a pedometer to track my steps and just make sure to take a minimum of 10,000 steps daily. This seems to be a winning formula I can live with.
Just wanted to share as I don't have many friends here but I do get encouraged by others who post their discussions and their success stories.
I'm wishing everyone a great day and to continue toward staying healthier than yesterday. Have a fun journey!
